When you water them, a cool scent arises and that's what comes to mind. But, what fun it's been walking on a cold night with gloves on-so invigorating. Thank you Laura for stopping by. Have you seen any cardinals in your yard? It's time for them to show up around here.Suzannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12383039383765299104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7840444083467497053.post-61377399502476186042010-12-12T12:18:32.538-06:002010-12-12T12:18:32.538-06:00interesting stuff! i didn't know all that...th...interesting stuff! i didn't know all that...the wreath's history!
and i love the lights...the decorations...in your neighborhood (sidebar)!!
i can almost smell the pine...rosemary...and thyme!

the time of year for ALL to be thankful and GIVE...be blessed and stay blessed! sending all good things your way! :] lauralaurak/ForestWalkArt :)https://www.blogger.com/profile/00285156023840252154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7840444083467497053.post-33419458272196632882010-12-07T06:01:48.794-06:002010-12-07T06:01:48.794-06:00Yes. My son and I spent a lot of time at the Methodist Church when we lived west of Fort Worth in a smaller town. I played in the handbell choir for 4 yrs. Loved it! I had to quit when we moved to Fort Worth, but I coached his junior league basketball team that was sponsored by the Methodist church, and his boy scout troop was also sponsored by the church. I always felt so welcome and comfortable there. All of the Advent wreaths are beautiful, aren't they? Thanks for visiting and enjoying. Hope you and your family are well.Suzannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12383039383765299104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7840444083467497053.post-30959091245050383232010-12-06T06:13:11.737-06:002010-12-06T06:13:11.737-06:00Thanks for the history on the Advent Wreath! We do...Thanks for the history on the Advent Wreath! We do this at our church, too. I go to a United Methodist Church. We use the 3 purple, 1 pink (rose), and white in the middle. The purple symbolize... HOPE, PEACE, & JOY. The pink one symbolizes... LOVE and the white one is lit on Christmas Eve at our Christmas Eve service and is called the CHRIST CANDLE. It is a wonderful tradition and very meaningful! :)Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07951507069505883907noreply@blogger.com
