Welcome all to KardKornerKrib...home of the Autumn produce stalker!
It's so nice to be feeling the brush of the fall season against my cheeks, and, watching as pumpkins and scarecrows mysteriously appear on the grounds of many farmer's markets in towns everywhere!

And how about them mums?  Too many colors to choose from, so, I had to get more than a few.  I'll show you my display when it's completed.  But...you may have to pop over to MyTexasGardens to get the full disclosure sometime next week.

Pumpkins with Flare!  And, gourds galore!

You say something is missing from my fall portfolio?  Exactly!!!  No Autumn foliage or trees!!!  Well, in my neck of the woods I don't get to see many orange and gold leaves-they turn straight to brown, crumble, and fall to the ground.  But, I promise, to keep searching for that perfect Texas Autumn tree, and I will post it as soon as I find it, haha!

Well, my dear readers, the time has come to be honest about my visit today.   I will have to take leave for 2 or 3 days from blogging.  My computer is going in for a transplant.  I have a laptop that crashed over a year ago, and when I took it to be worked on, they stripped one of the screws on the back and said they couldn't get the back off to get to the hard drive!  So I had to buy another computer-the PC I use now.  This poor laptop has sat for another year, and I am sick about it because I had many photos and wonderful memories on it, that are lost!  But, I took it somewhere else, they got the back off, and discovered that the mother board is READABLE!!!  And, they can transfer my files from it on to my PC.  So, off we will go for the procedure on Friday morning, and, hope for the best!

I promise to catch up to you all once I'm back on the road, lol!  I know...I do have a phone, but, I have a hard time communicating with it!  However, I can be reached by email.

In the meantime, if you get the chance, and like some of the old time music, pony over to Rockabilly Rock, and see who's dancing over there.
Thank you so much for coming by...stop in and say hello if you can!

* Have a lovely and safe Autumn weekend, I'll see you soon!

  1. Hi, Suzanne!

I'm happy to know at least one of us is experiencing the refreshing coolness of autumn. The weather in Florida continues to ignore the calendar and dish out summery heat and humidity.

I enjoyed the pictures you took at farmer's markets in your area. I didn't realize that you have become an "autumn produce stalker." I hope those pumpkins and gourds don't seek a restraining order against you. :) I am amazed by their varied shapes, sizes, colors and textures and I love to see them in stores and displayed as Halloween decorations at this time of year. It seems like scarecrows are much more common in your area than in mine. I haven't seen any in my region as I have traveled about these last few weeks. I have seen plenty of witches and black cats, however.

I hope you can find some colorful fall leaves to show us this year. Heaven knows I don't get to see any in my part of the country.

I will be eagerly awaiting word from the computer hospital where your ailing laptop is scheduled to undergo a delicate file transplant. I will have Mrs. Shady make chicken soup to speed its recovery. :)

Thank you very much for the entertainment, dear friend Suzanne. Take good care of yourself and please stay in touch!

    1. Hi Shady, and, thank you for the chicken soup offer. It's my favorite! Yes, we are famous for our scarecrows, gosh I've many photos-I just love them. I guess it's a country thing. Now, we do display some witches, but around these here parts, folks are suspicious of black cats, haha! And, I do still have a few produce markets to case before the season is over.

Shady, thanks for coming by. I'm glad you enjoyed the photos, and with any luck, the pumpkin police won't show up here! Here's hoping I'm back on line early next week. They told me it could take 24-48 hours to complete! Have a great weekend! ♫

    1. Hi Thisisme. I did get my computer back this afternoon, and I'm up an running. They did get all of the photos and videos over and the other one is trash! Well, I can buy another laptop, but these photos cannot be replaced. I feel so much better. I do enjoy browsing at Farmer's markets, and hope to visit a couple this upcoming week. Thank you for popping over, enjoy your Sunday, and breath in that fresh sea air!
