Elvis is in the building!

Elvis appeared on the Milton Berle show on April 3 (from the deck of the aircraft carrier the USS Hancock) and on June 5, 1956.  Among his selections on his second appearance was a playfully sensuous performance of  "Hound Dog" that drove the kids in the audience wild, and the next day, has the press and some of the adult viewers appalled.  It is one of his most controversial performances.

Well, there's not much time left to express your opinions on Willie Nelson's new "do".  Sorry, I should have attached a photo for inspection.  I will post the results soon.  Be sure to vote on the "Ode to Billie Joe" poll...I think there's more time on that one-it closes next Saturday June 12th.

And now, another June quote from our one and only Mark Twain

"It's better to be a young June-bug than an old bird of paradise"
